David Ayer’s “Suicide Squad,” the last big tentpole of the summer, is the most anticipated film of the rest of the year according to ComScore’s PreAct tracking service (via Deadline) which measures the films generating the most social media conversations.
To date, the number of cumulative conversations regarding ‘Squad’ on social media stands at 1.32 million – nearly double that of the next nearest film – “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” at 728,384. Both are far ahead of the next three most talked about films – “Ghostbusters” (498,187), “Fantastic Beasts…” (380,499) and “Star Trek Beyond” (343,293).
Also today, as part of the ‘Ultimate Edition’ version of Zack Snyder’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” some brief behind-the-scenes footage from ‘Squad’ has gone online and offers HD screenshots of Jared Leto on-set playing The Joker. Check them out below:
