The Zach Braff-directed remake of the senior citizen heist comedy “Going in Style” has been delayed almost a full year – from May 6th to April 7th 2017.
Alan Arkin, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman star in the caper film, a remak of the 1979 film, and the trio who who decide to rob a bank and take their winnings to Las Vegas. Ted Melfi penned the script.
Warners has also delayed the Ben Affleck-led thriller “The Accountant” which will now open a week later than originally planned on October 14th, and pushed back the Amy Poehler comedy “The House” by several weeks to a June 30th 2017 release.
Finally, CBS Films and Lionsgate have set a December 21st limited release ahead of a January 13th wide opening for Peter Berg’s Boston Marathon bombing drama “Patriots’ Day” starring Mark Wahlberg and J.K. Simmons.
