Following the rousing success of their theatrical run for the 4K restoration of “Apocalypse Now: Final Cut,” Studiocanal has announced their classic library titles set to score 4K re-releases next year with all coming to home entertainment and some getting limited theatrical runs.

The list includes an eclectic bunch such as Jean-Luc Godard’s “Breathless,” David Lynch’s “The Elephant Man,” Sidney Lumet’s “Serpico,” Paul Verhoeven’s “Basic Instinct” and “Total Recall,” and Dino De Laurentiis’ “Flash Gordon”.

Also on the way are restored versions of Gaspar Noe’s “Irreversible,” Sydney Pollack’s “Three Days Of The Condor,” Jean-Pierre Melville’s “The Red Circle,” Frederico Fellini’s “Lo Sceicco Blanco,” and the Ealing Studios classics “The Ladykillers” and “Dead Of Night”.

Studiocanal has one of the world’s most diverse film libraries with 5,500 titles from 60 countries and has ramped up its restoration efforts, jumping from 65 remasters in 2017 to a massive 217 in 2019.
