Netflix is expanding its content for children with three new original series being added to its lineup.
The most notable is “Stretch Armstrong,” an animated series based on the iconic Hasbro toy. Twenty-six episodes are being produced about Jake Armstrong and his two best friends who are accidentally exposed to an experimental chemical which turns them into Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters.
Armed with the powers of elongation, the trio will stretch their adventures across twenty-six episodes in the first piece of original programming for Netflix made by Hasbro.
Also on the way is the animated series “Lalaloopsy” about six friends who venture through a whimsical world with their pets, and Paula Yoo’s live-action series “The Greenhouse” about a Southern California boarding school where students are divided into two rival houses when an evil plot is discovered.
