Eleven herself, “Stranger Things” breakout star Millie Bobby Brown, has scored her first film role as she has signed on to Michael Dougherty’s “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” at Legendary.
“Krampus” director Dougherty is helming this follow-up to Gareth Edwards’ 2014 creature feature and is co-writing the script with Zach Shields.
Details of the plot and the characters are being kept secret. The film marks the third entry in a four-film monster cinematic universe that began with Edwards’ first film and continues with this year’s “Kong: Skull Island”.
“Godzilla: King of the Monsters” is scheduled for a release on March 22nd 2019.
