Comedian Steve Agee (“New Girl,” “You’re The Worst”) will provide the voice for the super-villain humanoid King Shark in James Gunn’s upcoming “The Suicide Squad” film at Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Films.
“Guardians of the Galaxy” director Gunn also wrote the script to the project in which supervillains are recruited by the government to carry out secret missions.
King Shark has a humanoid body with a shark’s head and is often portrayed as being very large. He has appeared several times on screen before on The CW’s “The Flash,” but this will be his first big-screen appearance.
Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney and Viola Davis are reprising their roles, while they are joined by Elba, David Dastmalchian, Daniela Melchior, Flula Borg, Storm Reid and potentially John Cena.
Peter Safran and Charles Roven are producing the film which aims to begin production around the new year ahead of an August 6th 2021 release.
