Stephen King’s “It” Film Wraps Shooting

Filming has now wrapped on the R-rated film adaptation of Stephen King’s novel “IT” and to celebrate the milestone, a new photo has gone up of a Pennywise Jack-in-the-Box owned by Producer Barbara Muschietti. Whether it will figure into the film itself is unclear.

Shooting on this first of a two-film “IT” adaptation kicked off in late June with Bill Skarsgard taking on the iconic role of Pennywise the Clown – the face of a monster that kills kids in a Maine town every few decades. Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Owen Teague and Jeremy Ray Taylor also star in the film.

Andres Muschietti directs the project which is currently targeting a September 8th 2017 release. No production or release date has yet been announced for the second film which will show the adult versions of the kid characters from the first film.
