Static Shocked By Sylvain White

Sylvain White (“Stomp the Yard”) has signed on to direct Sony Pictures’ futuristic thriller “Static” says The Hollywood Reporter, taking over from Guy Ritchie who was most recently attached.

Penned by Brad Gann, the story is set in Los Angeles, where the leader of the city’s toughest street gang must use his wit and skill to battle rival gangs as he is transported to testify against corrupt members of the city’s police force.

Neal Moritz is producing. White remains attached to direct an adaptation of the Frank Miller graphic novel “Ronin.”
