The June 17th episode of stop-motion animated sketch show “Robot Chicken” is looking to become an event for any “Star Wars” fan.
The thiry-minute special airing June 17th will craft all its sketches about the sci-fi saga, and has scored the involvement of both Mark Hamill and George Lucas who will play themselves in the special reports Star Wars.Com.
Joining them are the likes of Conan O’Brien, Seth MacFarlane, Malcolm McDowell, Hulk Hogan, James Van Der Beek, Robert Smigel, Donald Faison, Abraham Benrubi, Breckin Meyer and Joey Fatone.
Lucasfilm helped the show, including the provision of sound files on Chewbacca and R2-D2. The special was crafter after this hilarious sketch involving Emperor Palpatine lead to a meeting between Lucasfilm and “Chicken” creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich who pitched the idea.
