“Star Wars,” “Guardians” Are 2017’s Most Anticipated

Rian Johnson’s “Star Wars: Episode VIII,” James Gunn’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” and Bill Condon’s “Beauty and the Beast” – all Disney films – have topped a poll of the most anticipated films of 2017 according to a fan survey conducted by Fandango.

Also making the top ten were “Wonder Woman,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “Justice League,” “The Fate of the Furious,” “Fifty Shades Darker,” “Logan” and “Despicable Me 3”.

The survey also asked for most anticipated actor/actress performance with Emma Watson, Daisy Ridley, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry and Charlize Theron leading the women while Chris Pratt, Dwayne Johnson, Hugh Jackman, Idris Elba and Chris Hemsworth led the men.
