Star Wars Ep VII Working Title Revealed?

“Star Wars” film titles seem to follow a pattern. In the previous two trilogies, the first chapter was a three word title (The Phantom Menace, A New Hope) that hints at an overall theme.

Today, AICN has revealed the rumored official ‘working title’ for J.J. Abrams’ “Star Wars: Episode VII”. That title? “The Ancient Fear”.

The title is said to be in reference to Max von Sydow’s character, a villain, although it’s not known if his character is a Sith.

The source itself was the same one who revealed that filming would take place in Abu Dhabi. AICN contacted Abrams and haven’t received either a confirmation or denial.

In other ‘Episode VII’ talk, actor John Morton tells Movie Cricket that the upcoming “Star Wars” animated series “Star Wars: Rebels” will have more of a connection than you might expect to the new trilogy.

Morton, who played Dak Ralter in “The Empire Strikes Back,” filled in for Jeremy Bulloch as Boba Fett, says that “Rebels” will set up and point the direction for ‘Episode VII’, and that characters they are creating in Rebels will be around in ‘Episode VII’.
