Disney has announced that J.J. Abrams’ “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will be available for digital download on April 1st, followed by the DVD and Blu-ray release on April 5th. There’s even a trailer which you can see below.
The announcement comes as the studio is winding down the film’s box-office run with $2.049 billion earned across the worldwide box office – ranking it as the No. 3 film of all time.
The announcements come as Rian Johnson’s “Star Wars: Episode VIII” continues production in London ahead of a move to Croatia. We already know the working title for the film on location is “Space Bear,” but what might the actual title be?
A post of promotional material on Reddit, which has since been pullled, reportedly suggests the film could be called “Star Wars: Tale of the Jedi Temple”.MosCroatia has heard their own version, which is “Star Wars: The Order of the Dark Side”.
The earliest we’re likely to potentially hear the actual title is expected to be on International Star Wars Day on May 4th, though again that hasn’t been confirmed.
