Star Wars Causes “Fantastic Four 2” Delay

With Disney having slotted in “Star Wars: Episode VIII” for a May 26th 2017 release, it’s expected the few films that have been scheduled for Summer 2017 will probably shift around in the wake of that juggernaut landing.

20th Century Fox is the first to move, announcing the decision to delay the sequel to this Summer’s upcoming “Fantastic Four” reboot by a week. Originally slated for June 2nd 2017, it’ll now open June 9th. No word as yet if “The LEGO Batman Movie,” which is also currently scheduled for May 26th 2017, will move as well.

In other news, several new photos of the cast members in the first film have arrived courtesy of Total Film. That first movie in this rebooted franchise is slated to open on August 7th this year.
