With the launch of the poster yesterday and new trailer later today for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” love and nostalgia for all things from the George Lucas-created universe is high.
EA understands that and has used the time to release a new trailer for next month’s highly anticipated “Star Wars: Battlefront” video game which plays up on everyone’s childhood love of the franchise and offers you an escape from your now humdrum office job life.
The clip comes as more information has leaked about the game in the wake of the beta test the other weekend. The document reveals character power abilities along with a complete list of weapons and vehicles. The game hits Xbox One, PS4 & PC on November 17th 2015.
The ad also comes as Peter Serafinowicz appeared on Richard Herrings Leicester Square Theatre Podcast recently and talked about his disappointment with 1999’s “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace” – even though he voiced the Sith warrior Darth Maul in the first of the prequels:
“It reminds me of, if youre watching Channel 4 during the day and theres an old black-and-white film on, and someones in blackface, and they just bought this film for eight pounds to show and nobodys checked it. It was like, the most racist film of the twentieth century!”
