Stallone In Death Wish Remake

Sylvester Stallone is in talks to both direct and star in a remake of the Charles Bronson 1974 movie vigilante classic “Death Wish” reports the trades.

Michael Ferris and John Brancato, the scribes behind “Terminator 3” and the upcoming fourth film, are penning the script in which Stallone will play an ordinary man who goes vigilante after his wife and daughter are attacked.

Whilst Paramount Pictures controls some of the rights to the property, MGM is making the film whether that studio opts in or not. A March production start is being targeted.
