Squad Is Post-Memorial Day’s Most Tweeted

These days movie marketing relies heavily on social media buzz, and with several months to go in the Summer film season, one film in particular has been hogging all the limelight – the next instalment of the DCEU universe.

According to USA Today, David Ayer’s “Suicide Squad” is the most-tweeted about movie that will be released over the next three months. Between the start of March and this weekend, the film was tweeted about over one million times and beat out nearest rivals “Finding Dory” (869,000 tweets), “Ghostbusters” (565,000 tweets), “Me Before You” (329,000 tweets), “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” (251,000 tweets) and “Warcraft” (244,000 tweets).

Ayer took to the social media platform this week to release a new image from a scoring session for the film which you can see below. Steven Price (“Gravity”) is composing the original score for the film.
