Spielberg’s “Robopocalypse” Put On Hold

Steven Spielberg’s proposed sci-fi action feature “Robopocalypse” has been postponed indefinitely at DreamWorks.

Spielberg spokesman Marvin Levy says the project was “too important and the script is not ready, and it’s too expensive to produce. It’s back to the drawing board to see what is possible.”

Based on the 2011 book by Daniel H. Wilson, Anne Hathaway and Chris Hemsworth were in talks to star in the project which Dreamworks was aiming to get into production this year for release Summer 2014.
