Spidey Gets Flash, Aronofsky On Wolvie

Chris Zylka (TV’s “10 Things I Hate About You”) is set to play Eugene “Flash” Thompson, Peter Parker’s bullying high school nemesis, in the upcoming “Spider-Man” reboot for Sony Pictures reports Comic Book Movie.

“True Blood” hunk Joe Manganiello played the character in Sam Raimi’s first “Spider-Man” film in 2002. No word on how big a role Flash will have in this version.

Meanwhile when people first hear that Darren Aronofsky has taken on the job of helming the upcoming X-Men spinoff sequel “The Wolverine”, a far more commercial feature than his usual art house works, the first question is usually “why?”.
