Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios’ “Spider-Man: Far From Home” scored three new international TV spots today, the clips coming hot on the heels of a new poll which saw it come out on top as the most anticipated movie of the summer.
Said poll was a new fan survey by Fandango that asked fans which films they planned to see on the big screen between Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend. Spidey won easily with the Elton John biopic “Rocketman” in second.
The remaining Top 10 were “Godzilla King of the Monsters,” “Dark Phoenix,” “The Lion King,” “Toy Story 4,” “Men in Black: International,” “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw,” “Aladdin” and “The Secret Life of Pets 2”. More than 2,000 fans were polled in the survey.
The new TV spots offer extended scenes of the titular friendly neighborhood hero in his new stealth suit, however only one of the clips is in English. “Spider-Man: Far from Home” opens July 2nd.
