“Spider-Man: Homecoming” Footage Description

Some new footage from Sony’s upcoming “Spider-Man: Homecoming” film screened earlier today at Brazil’s CCXP convention and several descriptions have gone online.

Marvel’s own Agent M gave a brief description on Twitter confirming that there’s a a costume upgrade in the film that gets hand delivered by Jon Favreau’s Happy Hogan:

“The Spider-Man Homecoming footage was short… starts from Spidey’s POV, talking with Happy Hogan. There’s a case from Tony Stark with an ‘upgrade’ for Spidey. Then we see Spidey leap off a building, open his arms, web wings! There were a few more flashes of shots, but I can’t remember. That classic underarm webbing look was just so rad.”

Other descriptions suggest the web wings are fairly large and the jumping isn’t off a building but rather the Washington monument. The first trailer for the film is expected to go online later this month.
