The part live-action, part animated 1996 classic “Space Jam” is returning to the big screen for a limited run next month in time for the film’s 20th anniversary.
The film earned $230.4 million worldwide at the box office, inspired arguably the most famous movie official site of all time, and teamed basketball champ Michael Jordan with classic Looney Tunes characters against the villainous Monstars. Charles Barkley and Patrick Ewing also starred.
The news comes as a sequel starring LeBron James is in the works from director Justin Lin. “Space Jam” will screen Sunday, November 13th at 2pm and 6pm as well as Wednesday, November 16th at 7pm via Fathom Events.
