Sony Helps Build An Ark

Sony Pictures has acquired the rights to the Dark Horse Comics graphic novel “The Ark” by Mark Verheiden says The Hollywood Reporter.

The series mixed elements of the Noah’s Ark story with alien mythology. The story first appeared in 1998 in the anthology series Dark Horse Presents which also launched graphic novels like “Hellboy” and “Sin City.”

Verheiden also created the Dark Horse Comic “Timecop” which went on to become two films and a series. He’s recently worked on such shows as “Battlestar Galactica” and “Smallville.”
