Sony Gets a Substitute Teacher

Sony Pictures have picked up Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky’s feature spec script “Bad Teacher” reports Variety.

The story follows a foul-mouthed, gold-digging seventh-grade teacher who’s dumped by her sugar-daddy boyfriend and turns her attention toward a colleague.

That pits her against a rival who happens to be the school’s model teacher. Jimmy Miller will produce.

Eisenberg and Stupnitsky are co-executve producers on NBC’s “The Office” and penned the upcoming Jack Black comedy “The Year One”.
