Soderbergh Wraps “High Flying Bird” Filming

Even though “Unsane” doesn’t open until next week, Steven Soderbergh has already finished filming on an entire new feature to be released later this year – “High Flying Bird”.

Announced only last month and shot over just two weeks, the film stars Andre Holland (“Moonlight,” “Castle Rock”) who reunites with Soderbergh after working on “The Knick” together.

Holland stars as an NBA agent who tries to get his rookie client to accept a controversial business opportunity after a lockout temporarily shuts the league down.

Soderbergh announced on Twitter that not only has he finished principal photography as of yesterday, but he already has a first cut of the film locked – in fact he had that done just under three hours after he wrapped filming.
