Snowpiercer To Arrive Uncut After All

After months of very public disagreements, filmmaker Bong Joon-Ho and distributor Harvey Weinstein appear to have finally settled their issue with Bong’s acclaimed sci-fi tale “Snowpiercer” set to arrive in Western markets in its complete uncut form after all.

Bong gets to keep his film’s 2.5 hour runtime intact, but there’s a catch. The Weinsteins had originally planned for a wide release. Instead, it will be a platform release with a roll out.

Garnering strong reviews and good box-office in Korea and France, it’s still not known what date the film will begin its rollout though it’s expected to be this year.
