“Skyfall” Scribe Pens DiCaprio’s DaVinci Film

“Skyfall” and “Gladiator” scribe John Logan has been hired to pen the upcoming film adaptation of Walter Isaacson’s biography “Leonardo da Vinci” which will be produced by and star Leonardo DiCaprio for Appian Way and Paramount Pictures.

The book was based on thousands of pages from da Vinci’s notebooks and focused on his passionate curiosity, careful observation, and imagination and he studied numerous sciences including botany, geology, palaeontology, ornithology, hoplology, anatomy and aviation.

DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson are producing. Variety’s Justin Kroll confirmed today that DiCaprio is indeed next starring in the untitled Quentin Tarantino movie about the Manson Family. He will play a neighbour of Sharon Tate (likely Margot Robbie), while its confirmed that Roman Polanski will be a character in the script.
