Sigourney Weaver has joined the cast of John Singleton’s new thriller “Abduction” for Lionsgate reports Variety.
Taylor Lautner plays a teen who comes upon a baby picture of himself on a missing persons website. The discovery that his parents aren’t really his parents soon leads to a chain of violent events that have him running for his life.
Weaver will portray a psychiatrist treating Lautner’s character. Alfred Molina and Lily Collins also star. Shawn Christensen penned the script while Lautner will shoot the film before working on “Breaking Dawn”.
Jeremy Bell will produce and filming will kick off this July in Pittsburgh.
