“Sicario” Scribe To Pen “Disorder” Remake

“Sons of Anarchy” actor turned “Sicario” and “Hell Or High Water” scribe Taylor Sheridan is set to pen a remake of the 2015 French feature “Disorder” for Sony Pictures and Escape Artists.

Alice Winocour’s original starred Matthias Schoenaerts as an ex-soldier with PTSD hired to protect the wife (Diane Kruger) and child of a wealthy Lebanese businessman while he’s out of town. Despite the apparent tranquility in Maryland, the soldier perceives an external threat.

Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch and Tony Shaw will produce the remake. Sheridan recently wrapped his directorial debut “Wind River” starring Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen and has penned the “Sicario” sequel “Soldado” which sees Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin set to reprise their roles.
