Shyamalan To Do An Animated FOX Comedy

Filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan is trying out comedy for a change with word that he’s sold the script for a pilot for an animated comedy series titled “Eleven Little Indians” to 20th Century Fox Television.

The story examines three branches of a large Indian family – one has achieved the American dream; another has just arrived in the U.S. wide-eyed; and the third has gone off the rails. Alex Carter (“Family Guy”) co-wrote the script.

Shyamalan, Carter and Ashwin Rajan will serve as executive producers through the director’s Blinding Edge Pictures label. This marks Shyamalan’s second FOX project following the supernatural drama “Wayward Pines”.
