Showtime has announced the premiere dates for several of its upcoming series along with releasing trailers for some of those shows during their session at the Television Critics Association winter press tour on Saturday.
Their Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti-led “Billions” will return for a third season on March 25th with both their characters still determined to destroy the other, but must also battle for their own survival amid new forces and powerful enemies.
Showtime has also released the first trailer for “Patrick Melrose” starring Benedict Cumberbatch. The five-part limited series is based on the acclaimed Patrick Melrose series of semi-autobiographical novels written by Edward St. Aubyn about a man’s journey from a deeply traumatic childhood through adult substance abuse and, ultimately, recovery.
Also on the way is the seventh season of “Homeland” on February 11th, the second season of the 1970s LA comedy circuit drama “I’m Dying Up Here” which returns May 6th, and the fourth season of “The Affair” on June 17th.
