“Sherlock” S4 To Premiere New Year’s Day

The BBC has announced that the fourth season premiere of “Sherlock” will arrive on January 1st followed by a release a few hours later in the U.S. on PBS.

“The Six Thatchers” is the first episode’s title and the first new episode of the series to hit since the 2015 Christmas special and nearly a full two years after the end of the show’s third season.

That Christmas special, “Sherlock: The Abominable Bride,” was the most watched program over the festive season with 11.6 million viewers and the highest-ever audience share for an episode.
