Michael Sheen (“Underworld,” “Frost/Nixon,” “The Queen”) has joined the Samuel L. Jackson thriller “Unthinkable” and Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” reports Variety.
The Gregor Jordan-directed “Unthinkable” looks at the ethics of torture after a terrorist threatening to detonate nuclear devices in the U.S. is questioned by a black-ops interrogator and an FBI agent (Carrie-Ann Moss). That starts shooting this month.
Sheen’s role in Alice is unknown at present. He may also play Tony Blair for a third time in Peter Morgan’s “The Special Relationship,” an intimate look at the former UK prime minister’s relationships with US presidents Clinton and George W. Bush.
