The “Shazam!” film has screened for some junket press and the first reactions went up on social media last night, with near-universal praise for the DC Comics adaptation praising how different it is to both “Wonder Woman” and “Aquaman” along with Zachary Levi’s performance getting raves.
Warner Bros. Pictures certainly seems confident in the property, so much so they’re doing what they did with “Aquaman” and will run a one-night-only preview a full two weeks early – on Saturday March 23rd – via Regal Cinemas.

“Shazam! is another win for DC. Sure, the humor & action you’d expect from a superhero film are there, but #ShazamMovie stands out because of the emotional, family story at its center. I had some small issues with the hero/villain aspects but the family stuff is dynamic & powerful” – Germain Lussier, io9
