Additional photography has begun on the “Shazam!” film with star Zachary Levi announcing the news on his social media account. Levi says the reshoots, which by all indications are stock standard length for a film of this type, aim to make the film look “rill purty”.
With the shouting of one word, streetwise 14-year-old foster kid Billy Batson (Asher Angel) can turn into the adult superhero Shazam (Zachary Levi) courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart inside a superpowered body, Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them!
Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong). Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman and Ian Chen co-star in the David F. Sandberg-directed film opening in April next year.

Back in the saddle again. We about to make “additional photography” look rill purty. Also, now that I have your attention: if you’re in the United States of America, and you care about the direction our country is heading/about to head, and how that affects all of us, I encourage you to educate yourself on the matters and candidates at hand, and then vote according to YOUR convictions. Trust that your voice does in fact mean something. And our collective voices mean everything. #wethepeople
