Seydoux Joins Submarine Tale “Kursk”

“Spectre” and “Blue is the Warmest Color” star Lea Seydoux will join Matthias Schoenaerts and Colin Firth in the cast of the Russian submarine disaster drama “Kursk” for EuropaCorp.

“Far from the Madding Crowd” director Thomas Vinterberg helms the English-language film about the real-life events of 2000 when an explosion on board caused the Kursk submarine to sink in the Barents Sea, prompting a desperate struggle to save those on board.

Robert Rodal (“Saving Private Ryan”) adapted the script from Robert Moore’s novel “A Time To Die”. Filming begins in April.
