Mario Cantone, who played Anthony Marantino in the now finished “Sex and the City”, has talked to Worst Previews about the movie version – which may be further along than first thought:
“There’s nothing definitive yet I know the script is being written and I know it will be brilliant because Michael Patrick King is writing it. I know that I’m in it. I have a nice part in it, I’m told. If it happens, we should film it in the early fall I think, but I hope it stays on course because I would love to do it.”
Michael Patrick King was the executive producer of the series. Talk surrounding the film version got a boost in December when it was revealed that casting holdout Kim Catrall may finally be interested in being a part of the project.
