Netflix has released a new announcement video confirming that production has officially started on the second season of its hit comedy-drama series “Sex Education”.
The story follows a socially awkward high school virgin who lives with his mother, a sex therapist. A reluctant expert on the subject, he finds he can use his specialist knowledge to gain status at school and starts an underground sex therapy clinic to deal with their fellow students problems.
Gillian Anderson, Asa Butterfield, Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa and more starred in the first season which launched in January and garnered critical and popular acclaim along with being a big ratings draw according to Netflix’s own numbers.
Expect the second season of “Sex Education” in very early 2020.
