“Arrow” star Stephen Amell has taken to social media to shared a candid photo this weekend from what he’s working on right now – what looks like the highly anticipated crossover episodes of all four of The CW’s DC superhero shows.
The multi-episode storyline will be tied together by Melissa Benoist’s Supergirl character and is expected to incorporate her series continuity into the same one as the other three – “Arrow,” “The Flash” and “Legends of Tomorrow”.
The shot posted by Amell shows his Green Arrow boots along with that of The Flash (Grant Gustin), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), White Canary (Caity Lotz), and The Atom (Brandon Routh).
Executive producer Greg Berlanti has previously indicated that this year’s crossover will involve one unifying threat, as opposed to different ones on each show. The episodes are expected to air around early December.
The new season of “The Flash” will premiere October 4th followed by “Arrow” on October 5th, “Supergirl” on October 10th and “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” on October 13th.
