Sega’s “Rent A Hero” Game To Become A Film

“Hot Tub Time Machine” director Steve Pink has signed on to write and direct the film adaptation of the Sega video game title “Rent a Hero”.

The story centers on a reluctant slacker genius who joins a high-tech firm pitched as an ‘Uber for Heroes’ which aims to improve people’s daily lives at an affordable price. When company insiders plan to weaponize the tech, the slacker and his fellow ‘Rent a Heroes’ band together to stop them.

Pink and Jeff Morris are penning the script while Tomoya Suzuki is producing.
