Just after the announcement of the cancellation of Syfy’s “Incorporated” this week, the show’s leading man Sean Teale has been cast in a major new mutant role in FOX’s untitled “X-Men” series currently in the works for this Fall.
The series will focus on two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
Teale will play Marcos Diaz/Eclipse, a new mutant to the X-Men universe who can absorb and manipulate photons. His character is said to be a passionate and strong-willed fighter, and one whose emotions overrule reason. He joins a cast that includes Stephen Moyer, Jamie Chung and Blair Redford.
20th Century Fox Television and Marvel Television are producing the series on which Matt Nix (“Burn Notice”) is serving as showrunner.
