“Breaking Bad” writer/co-executive producer George Mastras has been hired to pen a feature adaptation of Dean Unkefer’s autobiography “90 Church: The True Story Of The Narcotics Squad From Hell.”
Unkefer is a former narcotics agent and the 1950s and 1960s-set book deals with a young agent’s downward slide into addiction amid shifting loyalties. At last report, Rupert Sanders (“Snow White and the Huntsman”) was attached to direct. [Source: Variety]

Short film director Leanne Welham is set to both direct and pen “Will and Zoe,” an adaptation of Kristin Halbrook’s novel “Nobody But Us” at Haven Entertainment.
