Almost a decade after they paired for “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” Brad Pitt and his wife Angelina Jolie are re-teaming on the screen for a currently untitled project. Jolie penned the project, though no plot details have been released as yet and no distributor is yet attached. [Source: Variety]

The Prey
Jon Croker (“The Woman in Black: Angel of Death,” “Desert Dancer”) has signed on to write a remake of the 2011 French thriller “The Prey” (“La Proie”) for DreamWorks. Charles S. Cohen is producing.

The story follows a low-level crook who has to break out of jail in order to save his family from his former cellmate, a brilliant but deranged serial killer. [Source: Heat Vision]

Spy Dance
Alex Hollister (“Shotgun Cinderella”) has been tapped to pen an adaptation of Allan Topol’s best-selling novel “Spy Dance” for Solipsist Films.

The story follows Greg Nielsen, an ex-CIA operative who reinvents his identity after the agency sets him up, only to be sucked back into action against his former employers when his stepdaughter is taken hostage years later. [Source: Deadline]

Bad Little Kid
Laurent Bouzereau and his Nedland Media Inc. production company have optioned the film rights to Stephen King’s new short story “Bad Little Kid” which Bouzereau plans to adapt and direct.

The supernatural tale centers on a man whose life changes forever when he realizes that a mysterious boy is causing the deaths of people he loves. [Source: THR]
