Rob Zombie has confirmed that Scout-Taylor Compton (“An American Crime”, TV’s “Charmed”) will be stepping into the shoes of Jamie Lee Curtis when she takes on the role of Laurie Strode in the upcoming “Halloween” remake.
Zombie, who is helming the film, confirmed the casting today along with two other names that’ll be populating his ‘reimagining’ of the 1978 John Carpenter horror classic.
Kristina Klebe (TV’s “Rescue Me”) will play Laurie Strode’s friend Lynda Van Der Klok who falls victim to Michael Myers in the first film.
Finally, Udo Kier (“End of Days”, “Blade”) has been cast as Smith Grove Sanitarium director Morgan Walker. Walker runs the asylum Myers is incarcerated in before escaping.
