Scoot McNairy (“Argo,” “Monsters”) has joined the cast of Quentin Tarantino’s new film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” at Sony Pictures.
McNairy will play the role of a cowboy named Business Bob Gilbert, a character in the western TV series that ties to several characters in this “Pulp Fiction”-esque ensemble set in the summer of 1969 in Los Angeles.
He joins a cast that includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Timothy Olyphant, Luke Perry, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, Al Pacino, Emile Hirsch, Clifton Collins Jr, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Keith Jefferson and Nicholas Hammond.
Most recently seen in series like “Godless” and “Halt and Catch Fire,” he is currently filming one of the lead roles in the third season of HBO’s “True Detective” and will soon be seen in the films “The Parts You Lose” and “Destroyer”.
“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” is currently prepping for production and will open August 9th next year.
