Scodelario Replaces Mara In “Emanuel”

Kaya Scodelario (“Skins,” “Wuthering Heights”) is replacing Rooney Mara as the lead in Francesca Gregorini’s indie “Emanuel and the Truth About Fishes” reports Variety.

The story follows a troubled 17-year-old girl who babysits her new neighbor’s “baby,” which is actually a very life-like doll.

She goes along with the delusion while befriending the neighbor, who happens to be the spitting image of her late mother.

Gregorini (“Tanner Hall”) and Matthew Brady are producing.
