Every long-running franchise has its nadir, and for the “Terminator” series that came with 2009’s “Terminator Salvation”.
That film famously didn’t feature Arnold Schwarzenegger who couldn’t be involved due to his being Governor of California at the time, though did lend his likeness to the film for a digital version of the T800 character though.
Asked about missing out on that entry recently, the action star wasn’t too fussed by it telling ABC :”Thank god. It sucked.” He has a more positive view of the other three he was in though.
When asked if the second one was the best movie in the series, he said: “I really can’t say that. The three that I was in? They all three had their own little personalities and interesting storylines.”
Schwarzenegger reprises his role in the upcoming “Terminator Genisys” which opens July 1st.
