“An Education” and “One Day” director Lone Scherfig is set to direct an adaptation of Tim Guest’s memoir “My Life In Orange” at Ruby Films and Focus Features International says Screen Daily.
When he was six, Guest was brought to live in a commune which served an eccentric Indian guru. They followed the man around the world as he preached sexual freedom and raked in cash.
Needless to say this all came to an end, leaving an adult Tim to fend for himself in the real world. He overdosed on morphine at the age of 34.
Scherfig signed for the historical drama “Music and Silence” last year, but this is expected to take priority.
