“Cyrus” filmmakers Mark and Jay Duplass are shopping around “Pitchfork”, a new dramatic thriller script reports The Los Angeles Times.
The story follows the middle-aged mother of an indie rocker who, after her son is killed in a car accident, seeks vengeance on an online blogger who had peddled snark about her son on the music site Pitchfork. Things take a turn, though, when she finds out the snarker is just a teenager.
Susan Sarandon is one of the actresses being sought for the mother role. Jonah Hill is said to have discussed the blogger role with the filmmakers.
