Sandler Admits His Films Are Paid Vacations

Ever thought various big screen comedies have really just been an excuse for the actors to have a vacation? Adam Sandler agrees with you. In fact, in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, he pretty much confirmed that’s what he does because… well, why not:

“Yes. I have done that since ’50 First Dates,’ It was written in another place. I said, ‘Imagine if we did it in Hawaii, how great that movie would be.’ And they were like, ‘Yeah, that’s a very artistic idea.’ I’ve been doing that ever since.”

Sandler got a second trip to Hawaii with “Just Go With It,” and one to South Africa for filming on the release of this week’s “Blended”.
