Following their success with last year’s tennis mockumentary “7 Days in Hell,” Murray Miller and Andy Samberg are developing another HBO comedy telemovie entitled “Tour de Pharmacy”.
This one targets professional cycling, more specifically parodies Lance Armstrong’s tainted time on the bike and the prevalence of doping in this world. Like the last film, Jake Szymanski is set to direct while Miller will write and Samberg will star.
Daveed Diggs, Julia Ormond, Phylicia Rashad, Will Forte, Dolph Lundgren, John Cena, Mike Tyson and Nathan Fielder are also already attached to co-star. Miller, Samberg, and David Bernad are executive producing the project which has yet to set a production date.
